Nathan has been a certified trainer since 2012 and is a former competitive bodybuilder. After retiring from the stage, Nathan expanded his training business and opened Bay Area Bodybuilding Academy in 2018. Nathan coaches athletes in preparation for bodybuilding competition, as well as members of the general population seeking to build their ideal body. Nathan also offers online training and coaches individuals from around the world.

After spending ten years working as a strength and conditioning coach with athletes from the youth all the way up to professional ranks, Matthew earned an advanced degree is Kinesiology and began specializing in biomechanics. Combining his knowledge of strength training, sports medicine, and biomechanics, he provides a unique approach to performance training, injury recovery, and functional bodybuilding.
